And, we are looking to add to that team as we continue to grow. Specifically, we seek a highly experienced individual for the role of “Senior Research Manager (Account Manager)”

The Senior Consultant is an expert at managing projects from start to finish, and plays a strong consultative role with key clients. This person is able to independently lead meetings with clients, explain and lead advanced methodologies, present findings and draft proposals. This person can confidently handle client contact independently (e.g., can be in the back room with a client alone). If in a qualitative role, moderating is required. A minimum of 5+ years’ experience. 

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Manage quantitative and qualitative projects from  initial meetings through report delivery
  • Create key deliverables from scratch: questionnaires, discussion guides, reports (including executive summary)
  • Analyze data and creates the “story” of reports with minimal direction 
  • Conceptualize slides and collaborates with the Design Team
  • Initiates analysis plan, working with Advanced Analytics and performing analysis
  • Acts as mentor for Analysts and Senior Analysts
  • Drafts proposals and cost estimates
  • Presents reports to clients
  • Leads calls with clients
  • If in a primarily qualitative role, moderates focus groups and IDIs

 

Abilities Required

  • Provides sound advice confidently to clients
  • Exhibits an entrepreneurial attitude, showing independent thought and the ability to handle unexpected situations successfully
  • Able to quickly spot any problems with studies and propose solutions
  • Well-developed communication skills, especially in writing reports and executive summaries
  • Can confidently and handle client contact independently (e.g., can be in the back room with a client alone)
  • Ability to lead projects with complicated methodologies and accurately explain method and findings (e.g., methodologies like discrete choice, segmentation and price forecasting)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Advanced Degree preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience
