Hypothesis appoints Edahn Small to Chief Design Officer, promotes Jenny Pfost to Creative Director

Los Angeles, CA - Hypothesis is pleased to announce that Edahn Small has been named Chief Design Officer. Additionally, Jenny Pfost, formerly the Senior Art Director at Hypothesis has been promoted to the position of Creative Director. The promotions signal Hypothesis’ long-standing commitment to design and its intention to have design play an essential role in the research process, deliverables, and company culture.

Edahn Small has been Creative Director at Hypothesis for over 5 years. Over his tenure, he’s helped position Hypothesis as a leader in design. He developed a departmental infrastructure and workflow, enhanced the company’s portfolio of offerings (both print and digital) and continues to explore ways to integrate emerging technologies into our work. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, both in terms of work product and culture,” he said. “Over the years, we’ve broadened our understanding of the role of design in research. It’s not just about styling reports. It’s about the overall experience of everyone involved, from clients to colleagues to participants. We want their experiences to be elevated, enjoyable, and useful. That philosophy guides everything we do and everything on the horizon.”

 Jenny Pfost will step-up as Creative Director. In her capacity, she’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the design team, further articulating Hypothesis’ brand voice, and finding ways to cement our position as design leaders. Jenny has been at Hypothesis for 5 years. In her tenure, she’s been responsible for producing some of Hypothesis’ most notable and most creative work to date for some of our biggest clients, including Lexus, Facebook, Uber, Disney, and Microsoft. Her work has been praised by clients and stakeholders.
